ITS to deliver GAMP® 5 Training in South Africa

07 June 2012

ITS’ reputation as a training provider of the highest standard continues to spread and next month South Africa will be added to the list of countries that have benefited.

Targeted regulatory and compliance training is difficult to source in SA, and the cost of sending pharmaceutical / medical device sector personnel to the UK is prohibitive for many companies.

ITS came up with the obvious solution – delivering GAMP® 5 open courses in South Africa’s largest city, Johannesburg.

The three-day GAMP® 5 Course will run from July 31st to August 2nd, and the one-day Fundamentals of the GAMP® 5 Guidance Course will take place on July 31st.

ITS’ pedigree as a training provider in this niche training sector is exceptional, having run courses for a wide range of companies, individuals and organisations, throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as overseas, for many years.

Customers benefiting from ITS’ Regulatory Compliance Training Courses include Advanced Medical Solutions, ANUPCO, AstraZeneca, Baxter Healthcare, Catalent, ConvaTec, DDD (Fleet Laboratories), Domino UK, GE Healthcare, GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly, Ipsen, Norgine, Perlos and TSL.

Please find below GAMP® training feedback examples received from ITS' delegates.

Training Manager Alan Benbow applies his knowledge and experience to the design and delivery of a wide range of GMP, GAMP®, Validation, SOP, CAPA, and Change Control Training Courses for the healthcare industry, drawn from over 22 years’ industry experience, working for Johnson & Johnson, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.

Alan ensures material is up-to-date, relevant and targeted, but he also understands the importance of making the courses accessible and enjoyable, and ensures each course is interactive and stimulating, resulting in a high volume of return business.

The courses in Johannesburg fill a gap in the country’s training calendar, and is of particular interest to validation managers, officers, engineers and technicians, IT and IS managers, QA managers, officers, engineers and technicians, automation engineers and technicians, engineering managers and technicians, and design engineers.

Johannesburg is served by O.R. Tambo International Airport, Africa’s largest and busiest airport, making it the air transport hub for the rest of the country and a convenient location for training.

ITS Managing Director Malcolm Knott said:  “This is another feather in ITS’ cap.  We have an excellent reputation for delivering compliance training in UK, and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise with companies in Johannesburg and gaining an excellent reputation in South Africa too."
