Andrew Stephens
Andrew is a seasoned Sales and Marketing Director with over two decades of diverse experience across various challenging industries, who is dedicated to propelling growth and facilitating sales transformation. His professional journey has traversed various sectors, including Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy (which includes hydrogen, wind and BESS) along with working with some of the biggest EPC contractors and integrators across the UK and Europe. Originating from an engineering background, Andrew earned his BEng (Hons.) in Civil Engineering and is a Chartered Fellow member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and holds an MBA in International Business.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the automation industry, and how did you get started in this field?
Controls and automation have always been part of the holistic solution while working with EPC contractors and integrators. However over the years I have come to understand more about the specialist nature of automation and its potential. Combined with my passion for developing renewable energy projects and being part of the energy transition solution, it’s a great space to be.
What do you enjoy most about working at ITS, and what sets you apart from other automation businesses in the industry?
As a business we solve some of the most complex problems for our clients which is fantastic to be a part of. The people are the bedrock of ITS – we have some of the best people in the industry and our dynamic approach and personable nature is what sets us apart, with the ability to offer each of our clients tailored solutions.
What do you like to do outside of work to unwind and recharge, and how do you balance your personal and professional life?
For those who know, BDs never sleep! But outside of work I enjoy running and downhill mountain biking (fortunate not to have broken a bone thus far!) along with the most important thing, family time.
